What is the Annual Module 1 Licensing Fee?

Acrobatic Arts charges an annual licensing fee payable on the anniversary of your Certification. Year one of your licensing fee is included in your course registration cost. Fee payment is required to maintain an active Certification and to be considered a Certified Teacher with Acrobatic Arts.

Importantly, the Module 1 licensing fee covers teachers for all their respective Module 2 and Module 3 Certifications.

As a Certified Teacher with Acrobatic Arts, maintaining your active license is essential to continue enjoying the full range of benefits that come with your certification. Not only are you given the rights to use the title(s) Acrobatic Arts Certified Teacher and/or Acrobatic Arts Certified Studio, but benefits include:

If Your License Lapses:

• 1 Day to 3 Years: Reinstatement requires a self-paced online course (cost applies).
• Over 3 Years: Full Module One course required (at full cost).

Policy Update: Mandatory Re-Certification

Starting September 1, 2025, it is mandatory for teachers to undergo re-Certification if their annual licensing fee lapses.

This change is essential to maintain the integrity of our Certification and ensure that all our teachers remain accountable to the standards we uphold. During the pandemic and the subsequent years, we provided flexibility to our Certified teachers to help them recover and adjust to the challenges faced. However, as we move forward, it is crucial to reinforce the accountability and commitment required to maintain an active Certification. This change is designed to ensure that our community of educators continues to deliver the highest quality of instruction and support to their students.

This requirement does not apply to teachers who were Certified before January 1, 2019, as their licenses are grandfathered under previous regulations.
