Registration for Aerial and Back Handspring Certification Course

Location:  Project Dance - 45778 Gaetz St Unit 108, Chilliwack, BC V2R 4E5

Date and Time: Monday, August 11, 2025 from 1:00pm - 5:00pm PDT (+ practical exam 5:15pm to 7:30pm) - Pacific Time Zone

This certification course focuses on spotting techniques, providing adequate time to practice and become comfortable with the timing and feel of spotting side aerials and back handsprings with an introduction to front aerial development and spotting. It takes place from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm with practical exams starting at 5:15pm until 7:30pm, in 15 minute intervals.  Time designations is dependent on the queue of participants.

Teachers are required to attend with a demonstrator who is working at Level 6 or above and has mastered the progressions leading up to side aerials and back handsprings.  IE: one hand cartwheels, chassé step hop (all cartwheels), back arabian limber, front & back walkover, handstand shoulder shrugs, hold handstand on the wall/plank for 1 minute (as a minimum) for this workshop.

***Module One is a prerequisite to taking this course. This course is ideal for teachers who do not feel comfortable spotting these skills, and is a prerequisite to the Module Two course.
