Registration for Back Tuck and Back Layout Certification Course

Location:  Legacy Dance Productions - 32925 Ventura Avenue, Abbotsford, BC

Date and Time: Thursday, August 13th, 2026 9:00am - 5:00pm PDT - Pacific Time Zone

Course duration is 6 hours including a 30 minute lunch (+ practical exams 3:00pm to 5:00pm). You will be notified of your exam time at the course.

This course focuses on the progressions and drills needed to make your dancers achieve these skills.  There is also a lot of time scheduled to practice and become comfortable with the timing and feel of back tuck and back layout spotting.

Teachers are required to attend with a demonstrator who is Level 8 or higher and who has mastered the progressions leading up to back tuck and back layout. IE: Side aerial, roundoff back handspring, cartwheel back handspring step out, hold a handstand for 1 minute, 25 handstand shoulder shrugs, 15 consecutive V-snap,10 push-ups.

*Demonstrators should have a high degree of stamina and conditioning and be able to safely perform these skills independently and with a high level of proficiency.

**Acrobatic Arts reserves the right to withdraw a demonstrator from any course session or practical exam if participation is deemed unsafe.

Please be advised that due to the difficulty level of this course, teachers will not be permitted to spot any dancer other than their own. If you are unable to attend with a dancer, or if the dancer you attend with does not meet the minimum safety requirements, both the teacher and dancer will only be permitted to observe the course.

Teachers must be certified in this course to enter students into exams at the Pre Professional level

***Teachers must be at minimum "In Training" status for Module Two Certification
