Course Overview
Scope: This course covers the second half of the Acrobatic Arts syllabus, from Levels 7 to Pre-Professional 3. Note: The spotting and development of back tuck and back layout step out is taught in the Back Tuck and Back Layout Certification Course.
Content:
- Advanced AcroDance skills: Flexibility, hand balancing, and limbering
- Advanced tumbling: Front and side aerials, back handsprings
- Advanced variations for AcroDance
- Common anatomy issues facing the AcroDancer
Requirements: To complete Module 2 Certification, participants must attend the course and complete practical hours (0-100 hours, depending on practical exam results).
Prerequisites
- Module One Certification with a current and active license
- Minimum age of 18 years
- Recommended: 1-2 years of teaching experience with Module One coursework
- Completion of the Aerial and Back Handspring Workshop
- Attendance with a dancer who is Level 6 or higher
