Registration for Module One - LIVE Online!

Location: LIVE Online! This course will be delivered through Zoom, you will need a strong internet connection to participate.

Dates:

• Session 1 - Tuesday, August 1, 11am EASTERN (8:00am Pacific; 9:00am Mountain; 10:00am CST) until 2pm Eastern – TEACHER ONLY 
• Session 2 - Tuesday, August 1, 3pm EASTERN (12:00 pm Pacific; 1:00 pm Mountain; 2:00 pm CST) until 6pm Eastern – TEACHER & DEMONSTRATOR
• Session 3- Wednesday, August 2, 11am EASTERN (8:00 am Pacific; 9:00 am Mountain; 10:00 am CST) until 2pm Eastern – TEACHER ONLY
• Session 4 - Wednesday, August 2, 3pm EASTERN (12:00 pm Pacific; 1:00 pm Mountain; 2:00 pm CST) until 6pm Eastern – TEACHER & DEMONSTRATOR
  *Practical Exams* will take place immediately following Session 4 from 6:00pm-7:00pm Eastern. You will have a 10min time slot during this window.

There is a MANDATORY Online Study that is required for this course. Material from the Online Study may appear on the written exam. You will not receive your certification results until the Online Study has been submitted.

This course covers the first half of the syllabus, from Primary to Level 6.  During this course, teachers will learn proper placement and technique for the foundations of AcroDance, including handstands, cartwheels and bridges.  Teachers will learn proper spotting techniques, basic anatomy, AcroDance transitions and lesson planning.  The skill level for this course ends at level 6 in the Acrobatic Arts Syllabus (back walkovers, front chest stands, assisted handstands) and is prerequisite  for Acrobatic Arts Module Two.  Module One Certified teachers can register dancers for exams up to Level 6. 

*Demonstrators must have a strong bridge recover, cartwheel and handstand.
