Join expert instructors for an interactive, hands-on program covering essential AcroDance skills up to Level 6 of the Acrobatic Arts syllabus. Master techniques, spotting, and progressions from your own studio. A dancer will be present in our studio, and you'll need one in yours too.
This comprehensive course ensures you're well-prepared to instruct and spot students effectively, providing a solid foundation in AcroDance education.
Course Overview
Scope: This course covers the first half of the Acrobatic Arts syllabus, from Primary to Level 6.
Content:
- Foundations of AcroDance: Handstands, cartwheels, and bridges.
- Techniques: Proper placement, spotting techniques, and basic anatomy.
- Additional Skills: AcroDance transitions and lesson planning.
- Skill Level: Up to Level 6, including back walkovers, front chest stands, and assisted handstands.
Requirements: To complete Module 1 Certification, participants must finish an Online Study (emailed 7 days before; check spam folders), attend the course, pass a practical spotting exam, and score at least 75% on the written exam.
